Train Together. Qualify Together. Finish Together.
Most people think Comrades is about one day.

Many runners focus only on the Comrades entry fee, yet that's one of the smallest expenses of the entire journey.
The real investment is in:
Showing up consistently.
Following a structured training plan.
Replacing shoes before they're worn out.
Fueling your body properly.
Planning your travel and accommodation well in advance.
Spread over 10 months, a R30,000 campaign is roughly R3,000 per month, while a more comprehensive campaign at R60,000 works out to about R6,000 per month.
Comrades is not expensive because of one race day—it is valuable because of the journey that gets you to that finish line. Planning your finances with the same discipline as your training will make the experience far less stressful and far more enjoyable.
